Aza Rae is a breath of fresh air to todays music industry; bringing a NEW analog feel to a digital era! Singing, dancing, and acting since the age of 3, she was heavily influenced by relatives who were apart of the Motown family. Music was everywhere! Classic soulful sounds filled her household, leading to an inevitable life of harmony, art, and stage which she personifies each and every day. Her passion for uplifting listeners through the art of music that raises the frequency of the people as a whole is her goal.

Aza Rae’s creative focus is infusing her love for people into music, so that listeners may truly feel the honest intent placed into every song. Currently she is working on new projects, where listeners will get a deep dive into the mystical world of Aza Rae as an artist.

Her live show experience ranges from performing at over 2,000 private events, weddings, festivals, and concerts, to gracing the stage with acts such as David Micheal Wyatt, The Clark Sisters, Kierra Sheard, Tye Tribbet, Hezekiah Walker, Kirk Whalum, Dorinda Clark Cole, Karen Clark Sheard, Mary Mary, Donald Lawerence, CeCe Winans, The Bobby Jones Gospel Show, “Baby”Mike Winans Jr., Lalah Hathaway, James Fortune, Ricky Dillard, John Pee Kee, Kirk Franklin, (and more); with vocal representation on projects like the Stellar Award winning album Kierra Sheard’s “Free” (2012 - produced by JDS), Frank Simmons III’s “The Chocolate Noise Effect” (2015 - under a previous name), “Sundresses & Lemonade” (2020 - produced by BVD & Frank Simmons III), being featured with singer/songwriter Mondaii on “Balance - EP No. 1” (2021 - produced by PdJB), as well as live shows such as the City of Riverdale’s “Juneteenth Festival”(2023), “Soul Therapy (2023)”, “Feels-ATL” (2023 - Rihanna & Ari Lenox Tribute), and Kanye West’s “Sunday Service” (2023 - opening with artist David Sebastian).

Aza Rae’s “old school-new school” vibe has caught the attention of legends such as Timbaland, Bryan Micheal Cox, Robert Glasper, Queen Nija, Terrace Martin, Rahsaan Patterson, Musiq Soulchild, Tank, Dwele, Rico Love, Eric Benet, Kindred the Family Soul, and is sure the set the world ablaze as she releases her “Rae” of light onto listeners who could use a little sunshine.
