Bob Allen

Playing guitar since he was 12, Bob grew up in Los Angeles and has a passion for music that has followed him throughout his life. Influenced by Jimmy Page, Neil Schoen, and Alex Lifeson, Bob started by performing as a lead guitarist in high school and college bands. He then transitioned into being the designated guitarist for all family events and weddings. Bob fused his rock and roll roots with acoustic guitar -- creating his own unique style.

Since 2017, Bob has played over 100 gigs and performed in a variety of venues around the Atlanta area including local wineries, private parties, festivals, and large community events. He continues his role as lead-guitarist for several duo, trio, and full band configurations that tie together The Atlanta Acoustic Artists.

His impetus for co-founding this colective was to be able to give local artists a home in their love for live performance without the stress of impressing a booking agent or competing with other musicians.
