Jessica Wax

Jessica Wax is an Atlanta-based artist and has been performing with The Atlanta Opera since 2015. She has her masters in vocal performance from Florida State University, and is currently singing in her fifth Atlanta Opera Studio Tour. Her favorite roles include Stephano in Romeo et Juliette, Fantine in Les Miserables, Wife in Stephen Sondheim's Putting it Together, and Hansel in The Atlanta Opera Studio Tour of Hansel and Gretel.
When Jess isn't performing for the opera, she is one of the vocalists in an acoustic trio called JTM. For 3 years she and her wife Talia Marie Aull, along with guitarist and songwriter Michael K., have been performing cover music in the Metro-Atlanta area. Among the many songs she loves to perform live on the acoustic band, some of her favorites include: Shallow by Lady Gaga; Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat; Seasons of Love from Rent the musical; and an a capella version of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.
