Based out of Atlanta, Ga, The Ides of June brings a refreshing new approach to the Blues/Southern Rock genre. The band is gearing up for continuous gigging in support of the release of their 3rd studio album, Rising Tide (2023). This record showcases the bands maturity over the years in not only their playing but in their songwriting as well. Pulling influences from the likes of The Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, The Black Keys and many more, the band embraces a love for that "older" sound while still incorporating elements of more modern rock. Dual lead guitars, fuzzy bass lines, heavy drum grooves and electric organ have come to play an integral part in their sound.
