About
Sammy Hanson is a jazz pianist and has been playing piano for 16 years. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance at Florida State University. Sammy has been performing in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area, and Tallahassee. Sammy has competed in the Savannah Swing Central Jazz Festival twice, performed in Carnegie Hall, competed in the Essentially Ellington competition twice at Lincoln Center, as well as the Jack Rudin championship at Lincoln Center. His music is all improvised live, making each performance something special!
